Again, our hearts are heavy as our racing family lost another member, Robert “Lee” Barfield on Saturday, October 20.  Mr. Barfield and his wife were a huge part of the sprint car racing family.  They were big supporters and sponsors of the Top Gun Series here at East Bay and other local tracks.  He sponsored the “Clean Sweep” award at the sprint car races.  Mr. Barfield and his wife were always here for our Winternationals Sprint Car Races.  He will be missed greatly.  Mr. Barfield was laid to rest on Friday, October 26 in Lakeland. We would like to send our thoughts and prayers to his family during this time.
